Intuitive Healing

The hands that can listen for the pain are sometimes blessed with the eyes that may witness the miracle.
Not the surgeon, nor the miracle itself, but in each of us lives an instrument of healing, a surgeon’s finest tools. Energy Healing is defined by many forms, techniques, and modalities all around the world as it spans global cultures and ancient medicinal traditions. Techniques are complementary and work hand-in-hand with traditional medicine to promote healing at every level. Most practitioners offering energy healing have trained in a number of different modalities and traditions in order to learn to sense and work with the body’s natural flow of energy. The intuitive healer, though trained in many modalities, works with the recognition that energy does not require a brand, but rather a personal engagement with one’s own ability to sense and direct energy across the body. Styles and methods of energy healing are quite individual to each healer, therefore sessions are independent of branded modality and very intuitively guided. In an intuitive healing session, the healer combines both hands-on and hands-off energy techniques with their own inner guidance to help sense and ‘hear’ the deeper, cellular, source of physical, emotional, or energetic symptoms or specific traumas that have created barriers to the body’s natural balance. As with all energy healing modalities, the intuitive healer works with the body’s natural Chi, or vital energy, to help promote and restore balance and a sense of wellbeing.
What to expect
At InsideOut we embrace the use of sensory intuition in our treatments to provide a deeper understanding and awareness to the source of strain in the each client’s current experience. An intuitive healing session is fully clothed, may work through hands placed on or above the body, and may feel active or meditative depending on your personal sensitivity to the flow of energy in your body. A session should leave you rested and re-balanced while the healing benefits continue to root and grow long after you leave the centre.

We offer intuitive coaching to help you explore your wings, those things held deep within that may seem to clip them, and the aspirations of your heart required to set them free. An intuitive coaching se ssion uses guided visualisation combined with your own personal intuition to help you explore your inner and emotional landscape. The session helps to uncover the sentiments held deep within that may be hindering your freedom and the ideas that once tapped into help you to move forward in your life. Working with your intuitive self, this session is a one-on-one discussion that helps you to discover from within yourself the aspirations and hopes that lie deep within your heart.
What to expect
A single coaching session can be all it takes to set your wings free to fly. Each session is oriented to help you to uncover those ideas or emotions that lie within your subconscious but impact your conscious world. The session incorporates the use of visualisation to provide a sense of deep relaxation, but clients are awake and participating throughout the conversation. No prior preparation is needed nor recommended as the session will focus on the areas that arrive intuitively during the session. The power of coaching lies as much in the process of personal discovery gained en route to your goals as it does in achieving the end result. All you have to do to get started, is take a step to find your wings.

At its best Integrative Bodywork is a shared meditation, a partnered dance, and a silent conversation giving rise to physical and energetic realignment, self-healing and conscious movement on ones unique path to spiritual growth and transpersonal change.
Bodywork is a massage-based, seamless blend of manual therapies and healing modalities. Through guided and healing touch together with physical massage, the body becomes aware of itself. Integrating words and movement, sensation and emotion, a single session can provide healing on all levels at the same time.
A bodywork session will kick-start your healing by grounding you in your body and by teaching you how to consciously listen to your body’s own signs and messages.
What to expect
Integrative Bodywork focuses on the integration of the whole self within the physical body. At Inside Out Retreats, all treatments incorporate core modalities alongside energy healing and intuitive skills. This treatment combines massage, together with intuitive healing and guidance in order to provide physical relief together with emotional and intuitive insight to assist in the healing process. A treat for the senses, this massage focuses beyond the symptoms for wellbeing and restoration.

At InsideOut we believe that massage is a form of both restorative and preventative care. Massage is well embraced for providing relaxation, respite, and even recovery for the muscular and skeletal system. It is widely accepted as a complementary therapy used for alleviating pain and promoting wellbeing. At InsideOut, we embrace massage as a form of healing offering benefits that go far beneath the surface. Our therapists are trained in massage techniques together with complementary techniques to restore and rebalance the flow of energy throughout the body. These techniques work at both a surface and a cellular level releasing physical tensions but also aiming to restore emotional and psychological wellbeing. The combination of traditional massage techniques with complementary therapies such as kinesiology, reflexology, tuina massage, energy healing and others is the difference between ordinary and extraordinary.
What to expect
The bodywork massage is relaxing and restorative. Each therapist operates individually combining their training in various healing modalities and techniques with traditional techniques of massage. Following an initial consultation, this treatment will focus on key areas of concern together with related points along the body’s natural energy lines known as meridians. This massage focuses beyond the symptoms to restore balance to the ‘whole’ energy system.

Meditation is one of the most powerful tools there is to help us restore personal harmony and gain access to our bodies’ inner intelligence. In meditation we re-discover the silence in our mind and in our silence we get our bursts of inspiration, our tender feelings of compassion, and our sense of love and of peace. Meditation is a practice to help us to access that space for silence, and in so doing, to access all that is available to us. The practice of meditation originates from ancient knowledge and tradition and is taught in many forms and techniques around the world. Some meditation practices are based on the essential sounds of nature, Primordial Sounds, forming mantras that are repeated to help centre and re-focus the mind throughout the practice. Other forms of meditation incorporate visualisation, movement, sound and even dance. To learn to calm the mind and body to strip it bare of all concern and limitation is to empower the soul to awaken and create wellness through inner peace.
What to expect
At Inside Out we offer support for learning to meditate or practice meditation both individually or as a group. A one-on-one session with a practitioner will guide you through the practice of meditation and visualisation. Should you prefer a room for your own silence and space for your own practice, we offer the ability to book time in our rooms to preserve this space for you. Group meditation is also made available from time to time offering a wonderful way to experience the benefits and healing energy of a group.
Observe the breath and quiet the mind, harmonise the body with the divine.
Moving the body, observing the breath and quieting the mind, yoga brings balance and harmony from within. As you develop your yoga practice, your awareness expands and you can begin to learn about and transform the inner space from within which you create your life. Working with the “inner self”, you begin to understand how your “outer self” and the world around you is but a reflection.
Engaging your body in asanas (physical postures), controlling your breath in pranayama (breathwork), and observing your mind in meditation, guided yoga combines ancient techniques with intuitive wisdom to promote personal transformation. Working with your physical body, this treatment explores the deeper impacts on your energetic, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. This personal exploration provides a deeper understanding of your self and the reflection of this on your relationships and the world around you.
What to expect
Sessions incorporate guided movement through a series of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathwork), and relaxation or meditation with a focus on key areas requiring attention. You will be assisted to develop your own practice as your understanding of the yoga system and its personal application to you and your life structure unfolds. Your practice is designed to support your emotional, energetic, and physical needs to transform your inner and outer worlds.
